Jallikattu:protesters want permanent solution

CHENNAI: The promulgation of an ordinance by the Tamil Nadu government and the announcement that jallikattu will be held in Alanganallur and other places on Sunday had no effect on protesters, as they stayed put at the protest venues demanding a permanent solution to the issue.

The only way out is an ordinance to be issued by the President of India on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, said Katju.
